Fall is in full swing, so today I am sharing the details on this lovely outfit that is absolutely perfect for fall. For this post I teamed up with Alyssa Brooke Photography, an incredible wedding/engagement photographer and dear friend, and a Fair Trade retailer that has been around for over 70 years; Ten Thousand Villages.
When I first looked through the Ten Thousand Villages website, I was amazed at all the quality unique goods they carry! I had so much fun browsing through various options for jewelry, home decor, baskets, and more. They kindly gifted me the essential companion tote basket, and I am in love. It is beautiful, sturdy, and was clearly made with effort and care. I wasn't sure how many uses I would have for a basket, but I've already found so many! It is currently sitting on a shelf in my room, a perfect decorative statement that can also be used to store books. I love that it is useful for a day out or a picnic, but can be displayed as decor.
The beautiful necklace in these photos is the Mystic Signals Necklace from Ten Thousand Villages as well. It was handcrafted in India, and is also very high quality! I have already worn this piece at least ten times, and love the combination of turquoise and gold, as well as it's unique geometric shape.
As for the rest of the outfit, I have been searching for a pair of shoes like the ones pictured for some time, and fell in love with these velvet Vince Camuto sandals the minute I saw them at Buffalo Exchange. The orange makes them acceptable for fall, and they pair perfectly with a cutoff pair of jeans like the ones pictured (also purchased recently at Buffalo Exchange).
Ten Thousand Villages is a non-profit that has generated $140 million in sustainable income for artisans who would otherwise be unemployed since it's founding in 1946. They are committed to be a pioneer in the #livelifefair movement through the following maker-centered business model:
