Fair Trade & USA Made Boutique Gives Back to Adoption

Meet Chelsea; the 20-something year old who is making a global impact by running an online clothing boutique that not only carries ethical clothes from incredible give-back companies, but also donates 50% of the proceeds from every purchase to adoption efforts.

Amma's Umma- a giveback company

In the middle of an adoption process herself, Chelsea has a heart for India, adoption, and fair trade clothing. Her shop not only makes a difference, but the clothes are truly beautiful. They have donated $11,500 to adoption projects to date, and that number only grows with every purchase made! Chelsea doesn't take a salary for herself, and truly see's her boutique as a labor of love.

Responsibly made, affordable clothing

One of the biggest challenges when shopping ethically can be the price, but Amma's Umma changes that! Many items are fair trade or responisbly made in the USA. Many of the brands they sell also have their own ethical standards and giveback programs.

Amma's Umma Outfits

Now, let's talk outfit details! Chelsea was kind enough to send me an abundance of Amma's Umma items, and I've worn them all multiple times already!

For example, these comfy jeans are from the brand Grace & Lace. They donate a portion of all profits toward building orphanages in India, and have built at least 5 orphanages through Angel House. Oh, and they were on Shark Tank! These are technically jeggings, which means you can trick people into thinking you're put together when you're actually wearing super soft leggings... it's a win-win! The waist band is high enough that you can't tell as long as the shirt goes to your hips.

This dress is SO soft and it's not see-through which can be so hard to find in white dresses.

I love a good pair of gold earrings, and especially love unique shapes! I've worn these hoop earrings more times than I can count and they go with absolutely everything.
